Our Mission.
We specialise in rare and unique Aroids. Our aim is to provide highly collectible houseplants that cannot be found in regular Plant Shops.
We take great pride in sourcing a wide range of specimens, so you are sure to find the perfect plant!

What we do:
The Rare Plant Shop is home to thousands of plants. Since opening in 2019 we have worked hard to build trustworthy relationships with our suppliers in various corners of the world, in order to provide rare plants of the highest quality that are sourced ethically.
Step 1: Grow.
After sourcing our plants, they remain with us here in the UK for a minimum of 2 months before we consider releasing them to customers. We consider it extremely important to make sure our plants are healthy, pest-free and actively growing before sale.
Step 2: Propagate.
Around 50% of our plants are propagated and grown from our own inventory in the UK, this is due to our sizeable quantity and variety of Mother Plants we have collected and established over the years. In addition, our plants are grown substrate-free, this allows us to efficiently ship plants to other countries.
Step 3: Release.
We take great pride in shipping healthy, acclimated plants to all of our customers. We ship with full documentation and no aggressive treatments are performed on the roots of any of our plants to enable a safer international shipping process.
